Remarks
The BAe 125-800 is a development of the earlier Hawker Siddeley HS.125 (British Aerospace BAe 125) and is the successor of the BAe 125-700. The BAe 125-800 / Hawker 800 differs from the BAe 125-700 in the following major respects: new Garrett/AlliedSignal TFE 731-5R engines, increased wing span, new avionics including EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System), higher certified weights and a higher speed. The Hawker 800XP is equipped with more powerful AlliedSignal TFE 731-5BR engines. The Hawker 850XP differs from the Hawker 800XP by addition of winglets on the outboard wings. The Hawker 900XP is equipped with Honeywell TFE731-50R engines and new avionics equipment and offers a longer range. The Hawker 750 differs from the Hawker 800XP by having an external baggage unit in place of the aft ventral fuel tank. The range and MTOW is less than that of the Hawker 800XP as a result of the decrease in available fuel. Current (2010) production models are the Hawker 750 and the Hawker 900XP.
